Rising Films is a film company created by Ryan Lifchitz. What began as a dream in New York City, is now based in Jerusalem and focused on bringing the stories of Israel out into the world.
Ryan graduated from Northwestern University's Film School and moved to New York City where he became an editor for VH1 & MTV. During his time as a freelance editor he completed shows for CBS, Bravo, BET, The History Channel, Lifetime, and the Independent Film Channel. He studied the Meisner method of acting at the Phil Gushee Studio and then applied this knowledge to his directing work. His credits as a director include commercials, music videos, and award-winning documentaries. Ryan lives in Jerusalem with his family.
